Our Mission

1.

Our primary focus is on removing the stigma associated with mental health disorders such as depression, bipolar disorders. Increasing mental health services of counseling, psychotherapy and initiating support group programs so that these are available to the community is of utmost priority.

2.

With the ever-increasing rates of suicide it is essential to empower the youth with a mental health vocabulary. Our aim is to reach out to students through our emotional well-being workshops and training programs across schools, universities and other institutions.

3.

Women Empowerment: The rates of domestic violence increased significantly during the lockdown. Domestic violence complaints were reported highest since the last decade. Since women are biologically and environmentally more susceptible to mental health concerns it’s important to help them build coping mechanisms and create a platform to be assertive to stand against domestic, verbal, physical, sexual abuse.

4.

Senior Citizens: Being the most vulnerable population during the pandemic our senior citizens were confined to the walls of their house. Even after the release of the lockdown, due to the fear of COVID, suffering and death, the senior citizens were vary of their every move. In distress and depression stories of some older adults, they expressed that now they were looking forward to a natural death rather than living a life of a loner. Some lost their better halves and grieved in isolation. As one ages one is faced with changes associated with memory, learning and biological parameters such as sleep and activity levels. Emotionally an individual experiences loss of their previous lifestyle, jobs and loneliness in society. With their wisdom, knowledge and experience we believe that bridging the gap between the youth and the old will create a dual channel of give and take.

5.

Inclusion of mental health issues in the corporate sector: with our esteemed team of psychologists and trainers we choose to start a conversation of creating safe spaces within organizations. With the increase in stress levels we believe we can help teach techniques of stress management, emotional regulation and communication strategies.

6.

General Community: by and large enabling the community to revive back after the COVID pandemic. Building on emotional skills, dealing with loss and trauma are the key components in establishing a well-balanced and fully functioning society.

7.

Addiction Disorders: over decades we have seen that humans have become highly addictive in their behavior to substances such as alcohol, smoking, and stimulants. The millennials are addicted to online gaming, gambling and social media. Our goal is to help individuals become emotionally independent so that they can make rational choices rather than being mere puppets of their self-defeating behaviors.
